First "Tarzan of the Apes" Inscribed by Edgar Rice Burrows and Forrest Ackerman, 1912
The first volume in which Tarzan of the Apes, the character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, appeared. All-Story October 1912 vol. xxiv no 2, inscribed at the top on the title page: "To F S Ackerman Best Wishes Edgar Rice Burroughs" and lower on the same page "To John Forrest Ackerman" In custom slipcover blue with gold-toned embossing.
